Last week, as you are probably aware, we finally had the contractor remove the “Monstrosity” in the front of our property. Below are some photographs I was able to take after the demolition and clearing out was completed.

As we expected, but perhaps did not recognize the importance of, was the fact that, although the old sauna was an eyesore, it did serve a purpose in providing a degree of privacy. For those of us who lived here, we did not quite appreciate this as much until it was gone.

As such, it is clear that we may want to investigate sooner rather than later having a privacy fence installed. We are getting a quote together and when we know the details, we will bring that to a vote also.
